5-10-1 Book Club -- A Whole New World: a 10-Week Exploration of Women's Autonomy in Speculative Fiction In-Person
Can you imagine a world where men and women are forced to live separately, divided into dual societies based on gender? Or a world with no men at all? Perhaps a world where women spontaneously develop unbelievable powers? Join us for this reading series with Lana A. Whited, Ph.D, to delve into stories by authors who re-imagine power dynamics and challenge conventional social expectations, and in doing so, show us what these fictional worlds can tell us about our own. Registration opens December 1st at noon. This is a series, so please only register if you are able to attend all meetings.
